Solo Exhibition in London

Sold out show! Hendrikka first solo art exhibition in London was on the 11.11.21 at the Icelandic embassy. Hendrikka has been interested in drawing and painting throughout her life, inspired by her late mother who herself had been painting from a very young age. Her home was very artistic. Being a jewellery designer, designing and creating has always been a vital in her work and style.

She began painting these characters which she calls “Wonderful Beings” after taking several courses at the London Academy of Arts, where her teacher said that her paintings has a unique inimitable style and encouraged her to pursue her interest. She uses a lot of vibrant colours as she believes that rich colours enrich our lives. Hendrikka uses mix media of oil, oil pastels and and sometimes graphics.
